3-6 months prior to your military transition
- Meet with local First Command field leader
- Sign letter of commitment
- Receive securities and life insurance study materials
- Develop self-study and testing plan timeline
- Attend coaching sessions with local First Command field leader
- Earn your Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses
- Earn your state life and health insurance license
- Consider the DoD SkillBridge program
First 9 months with First Command
- Enter Fast Start program and become an employee
- Continue local training
- Attend Fast Start Academy and VIP at the Home Office
- Prospect and build your own client base
- Begin receiving a base monthly compensation plus opportunities for bonuses
- Opportunity to qualify for Annual Advisor Conference
- Become eligible for awards and recognition
10 months and beyond with First Command
- Transition to Independent Advisor
